Samuel Overtoom

I am Samuel, a freelance web-developer who has a passion to help people embrace their personal side in their work. I am also a second years student of Creative Technology at the University of Twente. Starting as a kid I always liked taking toys apart and reassembling them, after nearly setting my bed on fire, my dad taught me a few basic rules of safety in electronics.
Growing older I would play a lot more with mechanical machines and software.

Until I found my love for web-design back in 2018. It was then that I first started building a network in the tech field and it was also back then that I first got a client for a website.
From the delivery of that website I kept on learning and building, until I found the perfect study to combine all these technological hobbies together.

At this point my focus is on my study, but in the future I would love to continue building more websites and helping small business take-off.

Mijn naam is Samuel, ik ben een freelance web-ontwikkelaar met een passie mensen hun persoonlijke kant te omarmen in hun werk. Ik ben ook tweedejaars student in Creative Technology aan UTwente. Als kind vond ik het leuk om speelgoed uit elkaar te halen en weer op te bouwen, nadat ik ooit mijn bed bijna in de brand heb gezet door een bestuurbaar autootje een te sterke bron te geven, heeft mijn vader me een paar regels in veilig omgaan met electronica geleerd. Ik ben nooit gestopt met spelen met electronica, al ben ik tegenwoordig een stuk voorzichtiger.
In 2018 heb ik voor het eerst een website gebouwd, ik ben toen ook begonnen met netwerken, ik heb hierna nog vele andere websites gemaakt. In 2021 heb ik Creative Technology ontdekt, een studie waar ik veel raakvlakken heb met zowel mijn toekomstplannen als mijn hobbies.

Momenteel ligt mijn focus op het af maken van mijn studie, maar in de toekomst ben ik zeker weer beschikbaar om websites te bouwen.
